Hey guys! If you follow me on Instagram (@dollysdressingroom) you have likely discovered my love for make-up! The products I'm sharing in this post are all part of my 'everyday' make-up routine. I have been doing my make-up for years, and these are my 'holy grail' products that I've found work best for me.
BECCA First Light Priming Filter: I don't use a primer everyday but when I do, this is the one I use. I typically only put on a primer if I'm doing a 'full-glam' look, or if I have a long day ahead of me and need my make-up to stay put for over 8 hours. This one uses a 'Cool light technology', which instantly brightens and reduces the appearance of dullness.
Maybelline SuperStay Long-Lasting Foundation: I have two foundations that I go back and forth with, but this is definitely my favourite! For years I have always used foundations from Sephora etc. but one day I ran out and didn't want to wait for it to ship, so I went to a Shoppers Drug Mart and scooped up this. I was extremely surprised/impressed with it. It's very full coverage and stays on all day. I use the shade 'Natural Ivory'.
Laura Mercier Flawless Lumiere Radiance-Perfecting Foundation: This foundation was my 'go-to' for years and I still use it from time-to-time. It's definitely one of my favourites. It's full-coverage and long-lasting. I use the shade 'Ivory'.
Tarte Shape-Tape Concealer: If you're into make-up I'm sure you've hard of this concealer. It's definitely the most popular concealer in the beauty industry. The formula is amazing, if you're looking for a very full-coverage concealer. Of all my make-up products this is the one that I truly couldn't go without. It smooths, brightens, and covers dark circles. I use the shade 'light sand'.
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder: This product is also an industry fav. It's lightweight, easy-to-apply, loose powder that sets make-up for up to 16 hours! I apply it after foundation and concealer, to set it.
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer: This is currently my favourite bronzer. It blends beautifully and smells delightful! It literally smells like chocolate because it's infused with 100% real cocoa powder. It's great for creating all-over warmth and dimension while achieving a buildable tan. I often will even apply this to my eyelids and use it as eyeshadow too.
MAC Powder Blush in shade Desert Rose: I love this blush! It's the perfect shade that goes with everything and it's very buildable. It's definitely a key part to my make-up rountine, even if I'm doing a very natural look.
BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector: This is the highlighter I use, in the shade Rose Quartz. It's an award winning highlighter and its adds the perfect natural glow to your look. It's super creamy and melts right into your skin.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Volumizing Mascara: This is by far my favourite mascara. It adds lots of volume but isn't chunky. I highly recommend.
Tarte Tartiest Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint: This has been my go-to lip product for YEARS! I use the shade "festival". Its very long-lasting. I find it pulls my whole make-up look together, and this shade is perfect for every occasion!
